About Bon Iver Bon Iver is a critically acclaimed, international music sensation led by indie folk singer-songwriter and Eau Claire native, Justin Vernon.
Vernon independently released Bon Iver's debut album For Emma, Forever Ago in 2007. Since then, Bov Inver has signed with the indie rock label Jagjaguwar and has gained widespread popularity around the globe, performing in venues throughout the United States, Australia and Europe. Vernon was recently named Artist of the Year by the Wisconsin Area Music Industry awards (WAMIs)
Vernon graciously accepts the title of Honorary Char of AIDS Walk Wisconsin 2009. A featured artist on the 2009 Dark Was the Night compilation sold to benefit the Red Hot Organization - an international charity dedicated to raising money for HIV/AIDS through popular culture - Vernon is honored to stand behind the mission of AIDS Walk Wisconsin and use his voice to be a leading agent of change in the fight against AIDS.
