REGISTRATION INFORMATION

AIDS Walk Wisconsin offers four easy, FREE ways to register:

• Pick up an information card from an AIDS Walk Wisconsin display in your area and register online
• Call us at (800) 348-WALK
• Visit us at Outreach Events throughout the community

Question: I just registered for AIDS Walk Wisconsin. Now what?
Answer: AIDS Walk Wisconsin will mail you a walker packet containing all the information you need to get your fundraising started. This packet will contain a Pledge Form, which you can use to keep track of your offline pledges (checks and cash). All checks should be made payable to "AIDS Walk Wisconsin".

Question: How do I keep track of all my on- and offline pledges?
Answer: Your online and offline pledges must be kept separately. Only pledges made online will show up on your personal fundraising page. Offline pledges must be recorded on your pledge sheet and turned in on the day of the Walk at Walker Registration. You will be credited for ALL funds raised after the Walk.

Question: Should I still register online, even if I already registered another way?
Answer: Even if you have already registered via phone, at an outreach event or on a registration card, we ask that you also register online.

Registering online allows you to create your own personal fundraising page which can be used to explain to others why you are walking, recruit team members and send emails to family and friends asking for pledges. In these emails you send, recipients will see a link to your personal page where they can make donations securely online.

Question: What is an "Eco Walker" and how do I become one?
Answer: When you register for AIDS Walk Wisconsin online at aidswalkwis.org, simply select "YES" when asked if you would like to be an "Eco Walker". As an "Eco Walker", you will make a commitment to doing all your fundraising online and contribute to helping our environment by specifically requesting not to receive any paper mailings from AIDS Walk Wisconsin. However, you can still collect traditional pledges if you would like, and mail them into AIDS Walk Wisconsin.

Question: What do I do with all my pledges?
Answer: Once you have gathered all your pledges, bring them to the Walk on Sunday, October 11th, along with your pledge sheet and turn them in at Walker Registration. If you are unable to participate in the Walk, you may mail your pledge sheet and pledges to:
