Michelle's AIDS Walk Homepage!
2019 is another exciting year for me and my mom as this will be our 7th year walking in the fight against AIDS! A little bit of history on why I started team In Memory of Ronnie Yuze: Ronnie was my uncle. We were really close when I was growing up, and I loved him very much. He was diagnosed with HIV, and in the late 1990's, his health took a turn for the worse and he passed away from AIDS. I witnessed the terrible pain and suffering he experienced until the day he passed away, and I don't wish that upon my worst enemy. He fought a long, hard battle.
I miss him and think about him often. Every October when I walk, I know that Ronnie is watching from above, and cheering me and my team on. Please walk with us on Saturday, October 5th, in memory of him, and for all the other people out there who have battled and/or are battling this terrible disease.
To sign up as a walker on my team is FREE!!! However, we appreciate the donations, and all of the love and support we receive from our friends, family, co-workers, and the community!
In total, since 2013, team In Memory of Ronnie Yuze has raised over $5,500. Please help us reach our goal this year of $500. Click the "Donate Now" button to donate to our team or click "Join Michelle's Team" to walk with us. Register as a "Team Member-Walker".
