Thank you for taking the time to visit Team HIVictorious' page. HIVictorious is deeply honored to be a benefiting agency of AIDS Walk Wisconsin again. Much of what our Team raises is returned directly to HIVictorious to support our outreach with youth and beyond. Considering we are a grassroots volunteer-driven organization, this is extremely helpful. The mission of HIVictorious is to educate youth in Wisconsin and throughout the United States regarding HIV/AIDS and STIs. Despite advances in the care and treatment of those living with HIV/AIDS, the human and financial costs will continue to be a problem for generations to come, unless we find effective methods of prevention. We hold the belief that removing barriers to education among the general public is one of the key components that is necessary if we are to reverse a trend that we are beginning to see with increased infection rates, especially among teens and young adults. We are committed to stemming the tide of HIV infection in those who are being ignored in today's mainstream prevention efforts. We are immensely grateful to ARCW for their generous support of our efforts in the fight against AIDS.
