Michelle Eckert's AIDS Walk Homepage!
2017 is such an exciting year for me & my mom because this will be our 5th year walking in the fight against AIDS & in memory of our family member, Ronnie. In total, since 2013, we have raised over $4,000! Because this year is a milestone, our goal is to raise $1,000 for this amazing cause!
For those of you who don't already know, Ronnie was my uncle. He was a father-figure to me, someone I always looked up to. He was my best friend, he made me laugh, & he always knew how to make me feel good about myself. He was an amazing & loving person. Fearless, courageous, & not willing to give up. In the late 1990's, his health took a turn for the worse & he passed away from AIDS.
I miss him & think about him often. Every October when I walk, I think of him & know that he is watching from above & cheering me on. Please walk with me & my mom on Saturday, October 7th - rain or shine! We appreciate the donations & all of the love we receive from our friends, family, volunteers, co-workers, & supporters!
